Job Description:
Passionate about horses and leading others? Help to instill that passion in girls as Horseback Riding Instructor/Counselor in sunny Florida!
Not only will you help girls become accomplished equestrians but you’ll build your resume supervising girls or a team of counselors/riding instructors as you plan and deliver equestrian programming to girls with Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s Camp Wildwood. We’re set among 600 wooded acres between Tampa and Orlando in Wildwood, FL. Join a creative team passionate about the benefits of camp, horses, and serving girls.
Wildwood’s unique features include an active equestrian center, interactive nature center, a beloved pioneer homestead program, pool, and a beautiful new lakefront with new lakeside cabins. You’ll have the opportunity to perform meaningful work as a role model to campers of all ages from 6-17, leading them in equestrian activities.
Or you can also choose to do more with additional activities and like swimming, archery, arts/crafts, outdoor skills/environmental education, as you create fun-filled adventures and memories while making new friends from around the world. Additional opportunities available to earn certifications such as lifeguard, archery, & CPR/First Aid.

Weekly wages starting at $400+per week commensurate with experience. (Counselor/Horseback Riding Instructor) and $450 per week (Equestrian Coordinator), housing & meals included. Dates of employment May 22-July 31. Partial summer available. Internship available.
